Galileo Research Facts No. 60: Can Galileo Training be more effective than traditional warm up exercises?
Galileo Training can be used very effectively also in combination with traditional training methods – for example to reduce negative training effects like muscle soreness (#GRFS1), increase of Creatine Kinase levels (#GRFS46, #GRFS4) but also for efficient warm-up in combination with stretching (#GRFS59, #GRFS16, #GRFS15), increase of blood-flow (#GRFS20)), as well as performance improvement like muscle power (#GRFS47, #GRFS38, #GRFS19). ). Galileo Training can also compensate the negative effects of high intensive endurance training (HIT/HIIT) on the fast-twitch muscle fibers (#GRFS28, #GRFS33).
This specific study used 5 minutes of Galileo Training at 26Hzz and 6 different exercises and documented the immediate effects with improvements in flexibility and jumping height by 8%. The two control groups either received identical exercises without Galileo Mechanostimulation or received a traditional warm up session using a cycling ergometer (5 minutes at 50W). Both control groups did not show no significant improvements. Therefore, Galileo Training is also excellent for warm-up and cool-down before and after traditional training sessions.
